Stories that reach wider audiences 🎬

Our broadcast work spans documentary and factual, to ad campaigns and pro-shots. Projects where storytelling meets purpose, and where every frame has to earn its place.

We bring the same care and curiosity to every production, whether we’re storyboarding, directing multi-camera productions, or editing to a deadline.

We’re proud to collaborate with broadcasters, production companies, and creative teams to craft stories that inform, inspire, and connect.

Case Study: Bringing whg’s story to life through film.

We’ve loved partnering with social housing association whg to create films that connect, inspire and inform, whether that’s celebrating whg’s people and culture or exploring future tech through engaging explainers.

It’s been a real pleasure to help share their vision and celebrate the people who make it happen.

We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most inspiring artists, museums, and cultural organisations across the UK.

Our films are about more than capturing moments, they’re about honouring creativity, heritage, and the communities that make culture thrive. Whether we’re documenting a performance, profiling an artist, or helping an organisation share its story, we approach each project with the same curiosity, care, and respect for the work being done.

Working in the arts and culture sector isn’t just what we do, it’s what we love! Every project reminds us why storytelling matters and how film can help ideas travel further, touch hearts, and invite people in.

We were basking in the Brummie sunshine a couple of weeks ago when Method's Matt and Tom took a camera into town to soak up the atmosphere before Black Sabbath's epic Back to the Beginning gig at Villa Park. They interviewed fans from all over the world and even managed to bump into some of the bands due to perform at the concert. Here, Brann Dailor from Mastodon talks about his love for Ozzy Osbourne and the band, his feelings about the gig and the metal community.

Still buzzing from the weekend when four Brummies took things Back to the Beginning for Black Sabbath's final gig. Method's Matt and Tom, mega music fans who both went to the show, took to the streets to interview fans beforehand. Our Story

We’re a specialist full service creative video production company. We bring to life your stories, ideas, websites, products, events and business through our exceptional video productions.

Our whole-project approach means that we often work with clients from the very inception of an idea. We don’t just go out and film. We like to get to know you, get under the skin of your brand or organisation and work like an in-house team to produce bespoke video content to meet your needs. We can help define your messages and uncover the best ways of communicating them. And if needed, we’ll guide you seamlessly through the whole process – from concept creation and scriptwriting to production and editing.

The team at Method in Motion pride themselves on their ability to define a brand’s key messages and uncover the best ways of communicating them via digital content.

Previously known as HTF Media, the brainchild of former BBC employees Matt Taylor and Leanne Tattum, we relaunched in February 2019 as Method in Motion, a name that reflects the evolution of not only the agency, but online video content as a whole since the company’s formation back in 2012.
