Wow, last night, what can we say! There wasn’t a single band in the final that didn’t deserve to go through and represent Birmingham at Bloodstock.

But this isn’t just about Bloodstock, this is about building a community, supporting independent bands and becoming a family that lifts and supports one another. Our moto has always been collaboration not competition and this year we’ve seen yet another incredible set of events, supported by fans and bands alike. This is what we had our heart set on and it’s down to you all. ��

A huge congrats to our winners Mantis Defeats Jaguar , official announcements through BOA coming soon. A massive shout out to Dying Addiction, Dreamboat Emperor , The Black Hounds and Mount Slatra - this is just the beginning for you all and we can’t wait to see where you go next. ��

Big thanks to last year’s winners and guest headliners Kensei, who are continuously pushing themselves and growing as a band. We are so proud of their journey so far. ��

We have our official roundup video to come too, but huge thanks has to go to our crew, from the stage, to box office and everyone in between, these people give up their time for free to help run these events.

All of the judges who have supported us throughout the competition and special mention to Philip Stephen Whitehouse who has not only shot every single event, but has been roped into judging duties on top of it too. ��

Our videographer from Ironside Studios, who also gives up his time for free to put together our awesome roundups and capture the energy from every night.

Massive thanks to our venues, The Flapper who put up with our rowdy energy for every heat and semi and Mama Roux's for hosting our final. ��

Finally a huge thanks to every single band who was part of the journey and every single fan that came out supported us - without you - the fans - we wouldn’t be able to support the underground and help highlight the incredible independent talent we have. ��

Change to door times for the grand final!!!

Due to a change in venue curfew, we have now moved our door times back an hour.

Doors will now open at 5pm with the first band going on at 5:15pm

We can’t wait to see you at our final on Saturday!

We've had a few weeks off since the Semi-Finals, but the Grand Final is almost upon us!

We'd like to introduce our wildcard winners for this year, who ranked the highest from joint judge and crowd votes next to our other winners - will officially be joining the lineup as the fifth competing band this year!

This is going to be one of the toughest finals yet with Mount Slatra, , Dying Addiction and Dreamboat also in the running.

Of course we can't forget our babs in Kensei , last year's winners will be bringing their magic and entertaining you whilst the judges have a very difficult job of making their decision to pick one band to represent the Birmingham metal scene at Bloodstock Open Air.

Tickets are just £8 and we'll be hosting the Finals at the iconic Mama Roux's in Digbeth this year. We can't wait to see you all!
