I didn’t have any plans to hike Jabal Mousa, aka Mount Sinai, but I ended up doing it completely unprepared. Somehow, it turned into one of the best things I’ve ever done. I reached the peak two hours before dawn, and watching the sky come alive from the top is something I’ll never forget.
