CASTING CALL - UNPAID
This is for a 3rd year student film to be shot in Solihull. Now for the details.

- location - Solihull, exact location will be figured out with a few days.
- Pay - again unpaid, my apologies but we will cover all travel expenses and food for the shooting days and provide all footage for your showreel.
- Production Title - TeD
- Shoot Dates - 16th and 17th of November
- Genre - Horror

Now onto the roles:
Firstly there is Jack.
- 25 - 35 years old
- Any ethnicity, with a relatively strong build no other requirements really so feel free to apply
- Bit about character - strong and confident, jack is a smooth talker and incredibly manipulative, attractive but with a hard edge to him.

Secondly there is Jenny
- 20 - 30 years old
- Any ethnicity, preferably with dark hair.
- Bit about character - innocent and vulnerable can instantly switch to sinister and cold. She appears submissive but in actual fact is usually the one in control of the situation.

Anyone interested in either role feel free to apply, all roles are flexible so apply even if you don't fit the bill but only applicants aged 18+ please.

Last thing due to low nature of the budget it would be preferable for applicants to be Solihull or Birmingham based, a little further a field is fine but applicants coming hours out of the way will still be considered but they may not be top of the list, apologies but hopefully you can understand.

CHARACTER INFO POOL:

Characters
Liz (18 -21 years old, any ethnicity)
Main character, starts off as the stereotypical main character in a horror film, i.e. the only sensible one around. As the film progresses she starts showing off some cracks in her apparently flawless character. You will be required to run and in one scene be moderately panicked. (Audition required)

Tony (18-21 years old, any ethnicity)
Quiet type, shy and feels a little out of place with the group. He gets teased a lot and prone to panic. You will be required to be pushed around, panicked running around and you will have a lot of damage makeup applied will be on you a lot. (audition required)

Ryan (18-21 years old, any ethnicity)
Very confident, edging into arrogance at some points. Is a very stereotypical lad in a lot of ways tending to be loud but later in the movie getting more aggressive and unpredictable. You will be required to be aggressive sometimes physically but also quite a bit manic towards the end of the movie. (audition required)

Jack (18-21 years old, any ethnicity)
Out to blow off steam all he cares about really is relaxing and is really the most relaxed out of the group. A go with the flow sort of person able to keep cool even in the most serious situation. Though when raised to anger it is a scary sight to see. You will be required to be aggressive but also most of the time to act detached and chilled out. Also, a bit of running and physical confrontation.

Nathan (18-21 years old, any ethnicity)
Brimming with confidence the only person he listens to is Ryan. A little louder than his close friends but all the bravado hides a very cowardly exterior that while he can push people around does not deal with confrontation that well. All bark and no bite could apply. Actor will need to be comfortable with physical and verbal violence

Emily (18-21 years old, any ethnicity)
superiority complex out the w***o, she even looks down on her friends at times. Bad attitude doesn't really do justice to her when she is a bad mood but she has her moments which is why she is in the group. Actor will have to be comfortable with Physical and verbal violence.

Georgia (18-21 years old, any ethnicity)
A girl thats used to getting what she wants be it clothes money or men or women. She isnt so spoiled that she is angry about camping but she will throw a fit if things go wrong. May need to scream once or twice and be comfortable with kissing another actor (though that isnt set in stone)

Sophie (18-21 years old, any ethnicity)
nicest gild u will meet, sees only the good in people and always wants to help. Not naive or silly but good hearted. not much specifically needed for this role as it is the smallest one.

ANY GENDER OR ETHNICITY CAN GO IN ANY ROLE THESE CHARACTER NAMES ARE JUST PLACEHOLDERS AND ARE NOT SET IN STONE.

INFO POOL FOR THE SHORT FILM WE ARE MAKING.

Synopsis-
A group of 8 class mates go camping to blow off some steam after exams. After a few drinks the group starts to fall out with each other and to make matters worse they are being hunted, the question on everyones minds is who in their group can be trusted and why are they killing their friends.

Pay-
this is a student film, I will do my best to pay for all travel costs and will also provide food and drinks on all shooting days. Great opportunity to add footage to showreel.

Shooting dates-
I have planned for 4 days of shooting the and 29th then the 3rd 4th and 6th, the filming takes place in Solihull, so please while think of this when u apply for u will probably be travelling home late and must come back early the next day. Wednesday 22nd will also be required for an icebreaking day with the cast, director and producer.

Audition times-
from the time of this post is one week time period to get show reels sent in and for four of the characters audition clips as well, if you don’t wish to record an audition clip you can audition via skype.
