We’re thrilled to announce that acclaimed British-Indian sitar virtuoso, composer, and producer Anoushka Shankar will be the guest director for Brighton Festival 2025! 🎶✨ Under the theme ‘New Dawn’, the festival will take place from May 3rd–26th, featuring an extraordinary lineup of music, theatre, dance, film, literature, and visual arts.
✨ Festival Highlights Include:
🎭 World Premieres – Don’t miss "Wembley," a powerful new play by Nikesh Shukla starring Nikesh Patel and Himesh Patel, set in the wake of the 2024 riots.
🎨 Public Art Commissions – Join a mass participatory project to share your vision of a ‘New Dawn’.
🎶 South Asian Arts Showcase – Featuring iconic artists like Meera Syal, Aakash Odedra, Aditya Prakash, Aruna Sairam, and Arooj Aftab.
