🧸💔 Missing: Tom the Teddy

Jasmine, 13, has been living with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB), a rare genetic skin condition that causes extremely fragile skin and often extensive blistering and wounds from minor friction.

Since around age two, she has had a teddy named Tom who has accompanied her to medical appointments and procedures.

Last Wednesday, following a round of appointments at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Tom had gone missing.

Mum Anna said their family are “devastated” by this loss, adding “to Jasmine, he isn’t just a toy – he’s her comfort, her courage, and her best friend.

“She is so desperate to have him home that she even offered to give away all of the money in her piggy bank.”

She took to Instagram to appeal to Brummies for help locating Tom and is asking anyone who may have information to get in touch.

“Please, if anyone has seen him or can help bring him back, it would mean the world to our family.”
