Ek Onkar Records
Ek Onkar Records is a newly formed non-profit label dedicated to the progression and promotion of Sikh values through the medium of music and entertainment. The term Ek Onkar, which translates ‘There is only one God’, is one of the key foundations of Sikhism. The label is dedicated to promoting the powerful values of Sikhism, its rich history & traditions in a form accessible for many.
The label was formed with the intent to release dedicated projects all year around, supported with videos & media that will not only paint an accurate portrayal of events, but also aim to educate the youth in an interactive and modern way. With the future of Sikhism in the hands of the youth and future generations, it is imperative that initiatives such as EK Onkar Records are successful in order to provide a platform to teach the youth in an engaging manner.
Ek Onkar Records will be utilizing some of the most talented musicians, lyricists & vocalists across the Panjabi music spectrum in order to bring out high quality, educational & powerful music for not only the Sikh community, but the human race.
All profits and proceeds raised from all projects connected with Ek Onkar Records will be donated straight back into the Sikh community, directly to Gurdwaras and specialist Sikh charities.
With projects well underway, Ek Onkar Records will be launching very soon.
