Snowy greetings from the Kiki Gals ❄️🧚🏻‍♀️✨

After some well needed winter hibernation, we’re entering our third (!) year of Kikimora fun with weird music treats galore 🍄

We make friendly events and craft releases purely for the love of it. Sharing amorphous sounds in and from the Midlands makes us happy, and we’re here to spread that DIY joy with you.

This is an intimate 40-capacity celebration of Imbolc, the cross-quarter day between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox 🌱🕯️

Expect a short opening floorspot (TBA), a celestial set of violin, viola & vocals from duo & , and a closing folk session - bring your instruments!

Gronky reworkings, delicate compositions & hypnotic melodies to beckon in the lighter days ahead.

The Kiki Gals are Derby-bound in March 2026! 🍄✨

We are BUZZING to have been invited back to help deliver ’s bold second edition, bringing avant-garde electronic and experimental music to the Midlands.

We are contributing to the line-up as guest curators, hosting a national line up of imaginative music makers. Taking over on Saturday 21 March, our selections for Psychic Dancehall 2026 include;

MANIC PIXIE DREAM POP (KIKI002) is here! 🎀

Today is a special day for us as we unleash our second output on Kikimora Records - KIKI002. The debut EP from 👯‍♀️

This continues our adventure in building a home for imaginative and amorphous music from Birmingham and beyond. With a key focus of championing female, non-binary, and trans artists in adventurous music-making we’re here to show that the Midland’s DIY music scene is thriving.

Thanks to all who came to last week to experience the 360’ Audio System in full force.

The textural, percussive sounds of ’s new music from Laos and the mesmeric tape loops and glitchy songs of were perfect to immerse ourselves in!

Join us this Weds for a show with 🥁

Kai is a Birmingham-based drummer, composer and music facilitator, explores his Lao-British heritage through new music.

Alongside the Khaen, the national bamboo mouth organ of Laos, his set features a listening session of his new EP followed by a live spatialised performance.

His EP ‘Naak Dam Naak Don’ is released the day after, with all proceeds supporting bomb-clearance work in Laos via Restoration Laos.

Team and felt a lot of joy collaborating and presenting an evening of synth and song. Championing weird and wonky sounds is at the heart of what we do 🍄♦️

Can you believe it’s been exactly two years today since our first ever Kikimora event? 💫 we hosted , and at Sandfields Pumping Station to kick off our In The Bellows series, and we knew we were on to something.

Celebrate with us next Wednesday as we welcome Me Lost Me to our favourite spot for a new full-band show, with support from our very own ! Still a few tickets on the Pan-pan website ♦️
