For National Sporting Heritage Day we wanted to share this with you...Sir Roger Bannister famously ran the first ever sub-four minute mile in Oxford in May 1954.

Now his grandson, Barney Townsend, is leading a British team's mission to try and break the world human powered vehicle record at Battle Mountain in Nevada, USA. The team is called Aim93 Human Powered Vehicle.

This incredible story is being told in our new feature feature length documentary called The Fastest Bicycle which premieres at the famous Ritzy Cinema in London on Sunday 12th October at 4pm. There are follow up showings of the film, which is directed by double BAFTA winner Michael B.Clifford, in Liverpool and Birmingham this Autumn/Winter. The Fastest Bicycle was also recently previewed in Forbes.

Not long now until The Fastest Bicycle has its World Premiere at the famous Ritzy Cinema in Brixton on Sunday 12th October at 4pm. The film, which our very own Sam Lockyer had the honour of producing at Iconic, will also be coming to Liverpool and Birmingham this Autumn / Winter with more dates to be added soon!

We are pleased to share the latest episode of the award winning 'Football and Me' series that we recently filmed with The FA. Guests included the legendary Arsenal Women and Lionesses forward Rachel Yankey plus AFTA Studio's Jade Stanger - one half of the very talented team who design amazing artwork for both sides. After the Lionesses' amazing win in Switzerland this summer this episode focusing on the women's game has even more resonance.

Our team at Iconic Productions have had a fantastic couple of days in the great outdoors filming with National Trust for their wonderful '8 Hills' regional park project. Great to collaborate with our lovely client Jess Massingham and, as ever, camera and drone maestro Jamie Parr Films. Looking forward to the next filming days.
