Designed by AWB Interiors, the new Sweet Swirl dessert cafe in Peterborough is a masterclass in high-contrast, modern commercial design. The eye-catching corner exterior features vibrant magenta signage that draws you into a space where industrial edge meets premium luxury. Inside, the layout expertly balances a sleek calacatta-style marble counter filled with decadent treats against playful, multi-colored terrazzo tabletops and deep magenta booth seating. The bold ceiling featuring chrome slats gives the venue a contemporary urban vibe, perfectly offsetting the sweetness of the brand.
Lighting takes center stage to create a truly “Instagrammable” atmosphere. Chrome pendant orb lights bounce light across the room, complemented by a geometric grid of glowing orb wall sconces and massive, floating LED rings suspended overhead. Framed by dramatic black slatted partitions and energetic purple LED neon strips, the glowing 3D typography reading “KEEP YOUR SWIRL ON” provides the ultimate photo backdrop for guests. AWB Interiors has successfully delivered a visually rich, texture-heavy destination that makes grabbing a dessert an entirely elevated experience.

Designed by AWB Interiors, the interior of .uk in Slough has been created with a clean, contemporary aesthetic that balances comfort with a strong branded identity. Warm ambient lighting, soft neutral tones, and natural wood finishes work together to create a welcoming atmosphere, while the illuminated feature wall adds a bold visual statement within the space. The use of modern seating, minimalist detailing, and carefully selected textures gives the restaurant a refined yet relaxed feel, allowing customers to enjoy a stylish and comfortable dining experience.

AWB Interiors approached the Stackzys project with a focus on creating a modern hospitality environment that feels both visually striking and functional. Through thoughtful spatial planning, layered lighting, and a cohesive material palette, the design enhances the overall customer journey while reinforcing the Stackzys brand identity. The large glazed frontage introduces plenty of natural light into the interior, helping the space feel open, bright, and inviting throughout the day. The finished result is a polished, contemporary restaurant interior that combines modern design with warmth and practicality.

AWB Interiors designed the branding and interior for birmingham.

The interior design elements for the walls have concrete Venetian plaster in a soft grey tone, creating a neutral backdrop that allows the bold red and green elements to stand out. The branding is consistent throughout, with a black ceiling and studio spot lights mounted on exposed black cable trays, watermelon motifs, and carefully placed olive trees add warmth and depth while reinforcing a strong visual identity.

The hand painted olive tree mural also carries a deeper meaning, subtly supporting Gaza and the wider Palestinian struggle as an anchor point.

The colour palette reflects the Palestinian flag, while the olive tree symbolizes peace, resilience, and heritage. Together, these elements create a space that is not only visually cohesive but also rich in cultural significance and purpose.

The space balances clean architectural lines with playful modern elements: vibrant blue and warm orange tones subtly represent the brand’s “flame and ice” identity, while soft upholstered seating, natural wood accents, and sleek furniture create comfort without compromising style.

Statement lighting, circular wall features, and illuminated signage add depth and visual interest, guiding customers effortlessly through the space.

Streamlined counter and self-ordering area, every detail was carefully designed to enhance flow, functionality, and atmosphere.

Soft, sculpted ceiling curves are paired with cascading greenery to create a warm, organic ambience, while sleek black pendant lights with golden interiors add a touch of contemporary sophistication.

Natural wood textures, stone-finished walls and sleek black metal accents come together to create a balanced blend of comfort and sophistication. Soft ambient lighting, tan leather seating and a striking branded counter elevate the atmosphere, making every corner feel curated and cosy.
