It’s easy to feel like what you’re doing isn’t enough. Running a business between school runs, nap times, and endless to-do lists can feel messy and overwhelming.

Yesterday was not only our wedding anniversary but I also completed the 465000, with 2 days left to go!

I will carry on to the end of the month but I wanted to share this as it was a significant moment!

11 years ago on the most magical day, without even realising it was also going to be the start of when my world fell apart. Just days later on holiday with my mom is when we really noticed something was wrong. She struggled with walking and had a fall. The signs were starting to show and not long after she got diagnosed with MND and everything changed!

What should have been the start of a happy life together, newly weds planning our future. Was actually the worst time of my life, accepting mom’s diagnosis was the hardest.

There’s a common misconception that to make money you need a large following on social media!

While this one is easy to believe more followers means more eyes, so more sales right!

Not necessarily, more eyes doesn’t necessarily mean more people that want to buy from you.

Here’s what you need to be doing, being visible to the right people, my suggestion is to focus on the following:

• Building trust
• What problem you can solve
• How you can help
• Connecting with your audience
• A positive mindset
• Being you as that is unique

Social media is a powerful way to connect and attract new clients, but it’s just one piece of the puzzle. Don’t get caught up comparing your journey to someone else’s – your path is unique, and you’re exactly where you need to be.

Let’s break it down 👇

✨ A lead magnet = a little freebie you give (like a checklist, PDF or discount) in exchange for an email address.
✨ A funnel = the simple journey someone takes from finding you → to trusting you → to buying from you.

That’s it. No jargon. No scary systems. Just a way to save time, build trust, and grow your business while you’re busy being mum too. 💕

It’s been a few days since my last update, I am now 82% complete and raised £171.

Thank you so much to everyone that has donated and any support and encouragement is very welcome!

Some days have been harder than others but I have managed to keep going even is that has meant pacing up and down train stations, getting out of taxis early and walking home, blisters and even pacing round my kitchen!

It’s been eventful but I’m still going!

Why I love this trend and think it’s going to stick around!

Real people showing up with real life, not that polished, perfect life that just isn’t relatable!

This trend is definitely for me, over the years social media has changed and people don’t want the perfectly polished grid anymore.

I am so relieved as I’ve never been one for waiting till my hair or makeup looks perfect to show up, my theory if I’m happy to leave the house like this and see real people in real life why can’t I show up on social media like it, let’s be honest people walking down the street see you like this so why not on socials media!

I think this trend is here for the long haul, people want real, authentic and relatable!
