Email marketing explained in plain English no jargon, no overwhelm, I promise 🙌

Here's the whole thing, simplified:

1️⃣ You sign up to an email platform (I recommend Systeme.io, free plan, brilliant for providers)

2️⃣ You create a simple sign-up form or landing page 'Join my list for tips, updates and first access to class spaces'

3️⃣ Parents sign up (they WANT to hear from you, they just need to be invited)

4️⃣ You write one short email a week. Maybe 150-300 words. A tip, an update, a class reminder. Done.

5️⃣ You press send. It lands in their inbox. They read it when they're ready.

That's email marketing. That's it.

The platform handles the technical bits. The compliance. The unsubscribe button. The formatting.

You just show up and write, the same way you do here, but to people who ASKED to hear from you.

I went from corporate manager to messy play provider to children's activity tech strategist. Here's what I brought with me and what I had to leave behind. 💛

20+ years in corporate. Project management. Systems. Tech. Managing teams of people through change. I was good at it. But it wasn't built around school hours.

Then I became a messy play franchisee. Completely different world. Creative, chaotic, joyful and absolutely nothing like corporate life.

Then I worked for the franchise head office updating their tech, rebuilding their systems, supporting the whole network.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I realised: children's activity providers are incredible at what they do. But the business side the tech, the systems, the online presence nobody had made it simple for them.

So I did.

What corporate gave me: systems thinking, project management, and zero fear of tech.
What messy play gave me: I know your world. I've lived it.
What I had to unlearn: perfectionism. Formal language. The idea that everything had to be polished before it was useful.

This is why I do what I do. And it's why I know email marketing, done simply can change your September.

I had an email list for over a year and I never sent ONE email!
