At Guardian Occasions we’ve always tried to advocate new ideas which are different to the norm! Whether that be promoting our traditional dishes to youngsters, on so many occasions we’ve been told that because of our Saag & Maki Di Roti hot pots our kids now love Saag because it’s cool to eat!
When it came to Anand Karaj’s / Religious ceremony’s when discussing with families it was always known that there will be less guests at the Gurdwara because only the adults will come & that the youngsters will go straight to the reception, so we thought of ideas on how to change this perception, we were the first to introduce our cereal/vegan cakes/croissant/yoghurt pots stands to Gurdwara’s on the hope that it would attract youngsters to the actual wedding being the religious ceremony and proudly it did!
Recently, we have started to translate menus / dishes from English to Punjabi / Hindi in the hope that youngsters will now read menus and identify the spelling of dishes in different launguages which is proving to be really appreciated by guests who read the menus!
This is our approach of connecting younger generations with traditional cuisine and cultural practices! We hope these innovative approaches not only promote traditional dishes but also foster a sense of community and pride among younger generations.
