To help promote the Summer Meadow Collage competition, run by The John Burningham Estate, Puffin Books and illustrator Petr Horácek, I recently created a series of videos to inspire and support children as they create their own meadow masterpieces.

Watch illustrator Petr Horácek talk you through some of the techniques he uses to create his lovely meadow scenes. On the website, you’ll also see helpful step-by-step videos to guide children through making their very own meadow collages using paint, paper, drawing, printing—or anything they fancy experimenting with!

I’m photographing a Worcestershire Early Music concert performed by students from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire this afternoon at the Old Palace in Worcester. As a portrait of my dad hangs in the palace, I thought I’d take the chance to take a Father’s Day selfie!

Since it reopened in 2021 — having been closed since 2002 — following nearly a decade of restoration work, I’ve been keen to see inside The Grand Hotel for a while. A job photographing this evening for St Philips Chambers finally gave me that chance, and it’s stunning!
