“Tracks Between The Trees” ‘The Musical’

Tracks Between the Trees is a dynamic new musical that explores the intensity, vibrancy, and complexity of adolescence through dance, song, and story. Rooted in youth culture and driven by powerful themes of identity, community, and resilience, this is a performing arts production that speaks to people of all ages.

Plot Summary

At its heart, this is a coming-of-age story. Two rival dance groups led by passionate choreographers and guided by a committed performing arts director compete in a local talent show. Alongside them stands a diverse group of lifelong residents, each with their own connection to the community and its future.
But their world is not without challenges. Everyday teenage struggles school hierarchy, peer pressure, relationships soon intersect with darker realities: knife crime, drug use, county lines, and exploitation. As tensions rise, the community is forced to confront difficult truths and find collective strength in the face of adversity.

Through it all, the arts music, dance, and storytelling become tools for healing, expression, and transformation.
