🚨 OSP Investigates Alleged GH¢70,000 Vetting Funds Involving Patricia Appiagyei

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has launched a preliminary investigation into alleged GH¢70,000 connected to the parliamentary vetting of ministerial and Supreme Court nominees.

The probe follows a document circulating in the media, purportedly involving Patricia Appiagyei, MP for Asokwa and Deputy Minority Leader. The document allegedly suggests that she returned GH¢70,000 advanced to her in relation to the vetting process.

The OSP says it will investigate the authenticity of the document, the source and purpose of the funds, and allegations that the money may have been linked to the extortion of nominees.

Appiagyei has been invited to assist with the investigation.
