Keeping the dead buried is a full-time job. Falling in love only makes it worse.

In CEMETERY MAN (1994), Rupert Everett plays Francesco Dellamorte, a cemetery caretaker whose residents keep coming back to life. Then a beautiful widow arrives, and his already strange existence slips further into obsession and madness.

Directed by Michele Soavi, who worked with Dario Argento before making STAGEFRIGHT and THE CHURCH, this Italian cult film mixes splattery zombie horror with surreal comedy and a melancholy love story. Also known as DELLAMORTE DELLAMORE, it’s less about surviving the apocalypse than surviving a life that feels like a dead end.

CUDDLY TOYS is finally on BloodStream! We’ve been eagerly anticipating this day! Auteur filmmaker Kansas Bowling has crafted a mondo mockumentary with such skill and care that it’s easy to see her love of exploitation films and satire reflected in this sometimes surreal, brutal, funny examination of violence against young women. This film is uncomfortable and brilliant.

Vinegar Syndrome has released the film on Blu-ray with a ton of special features, including a commentary with Bowling and BloodStream programmer Heidi Honeycutt.

This film is a masterpiece.
