A 7 hour epic where we’re proud to have one of the founding legends of the scene joining us, our first ever live act, and some of the hottest DJ’s and producers driving the sound forward right now.

So, it’s been a year since our first party and from when I first wrote down the ideals and values that I wanted from the night, so I thought it was worth revisiting them, given that there’s now over 3000(!) of you following us.

The underground/grassroots music scene is important, special, and yet fragile. Venues up and down the country are under threat, costs are rising, it’s a tough world right now. It needs us all to do our bit, from how promoters create and run nights, how we all act in venues and on dancefloors, to how we share and discuss the scene both online and in the wider world. I hope that even just for a few hours we can create together a space where everyone can forget the bonfire that is the world right now, be themselves without harassment or bigotry, and be free to share the sheer joy of dancing with strangers to loud, fast, and quite frankly often rather silly music.

I created pH1 as my response to what I saw as the depressing takeover and corporatisation of certain parts of the techno landscape, to try and create in my home city the vibe and sheer joy I experienced on dancefloors in the 90’s. Back then it was all very much DIY, but the world has changed. Corporations and soulless arena sized venues don’t care for the scene, they actively exploit it and steal its soul for their own ends and profits. We need to fight back. Reject the mainstream, get back to supporting new talent, take chances on small venues and acts you’ve never heard of, stick two fingers up at the corporate vampires, and fu***ng ‘av it.

It’s been an amazing first year. Let’s together make sure we keep going for another one. See you on the dancefloor.

Birthday gift reveal…

Every one of you who bought an early first release ticket will receive a special, super limited and exclusive, USB stick when you get to the club. On it you’ll find loads of music from many of the DJ’s and producers that have played at and supported the night over the past year. As well as hours of DJ mixes and tunes, there are a couple of EXCLUSIVE tracks as well, so any of you that also DJ will have something rather special to drop into your sets - you won’t find these anywhere else.

There will also be a super limited number of these sticks available for the first people on the door from 21:00 - so all the more reason to get down early, they won’t last long!

Our way of saying thank you to all those who support the night, we can’t do it without you.

Huge thanks as well to the artists that have contributed to this, you’re all rather fantastic.
