UK ACTORS WANTED
We’re preparing for our second filming block in February 2026, and TrueLume Films is casting four short films set within The Chaplain universe. These films serve as character backstories, capturing pivotal moments from the past that quietly shape relationships, choices, and the paths these characters go on to follow.
ROLES AVAILABLE:
AARON JAMES
Age Range: Early 20s
Ethnicity: White British
Aaron is a worship musician connected to The Gathering Church who also works in the Police force. He is driven by faith and a personal loss from his past, which motivates his career and actions. The role requires a grounded, sincere presence.

Age Range: 11–13

Young Aaron is a bright, adventurous boy. Protective over his
twin sister. The role requires a passionate and strong personality.
NAOMI JAMES (AGED 12)

Naomi is Aaron’s younger twin sister, imaginative
and full of energy. She loves adventure and sharing a close,
playful bond with her brother. The role
requires curiosity, and a lively presence.
GRAHAM JONES

Graham is a dedicated police sergeant known for his strong sense
of duty and leadership. He is a committed husband who takes his responsibilities seriously at work and at home. The role requires a grounded, dependable presence with subtle emotional depth.
EMMA JONES

Emma is a school teacher and the wife of a Graham Jones. She is gentle, loving, and deeply committed to her marriage. Her ongoing struggle with infertility and IVF has taken an emotional toll. The role requires warmth and quiet emotional honesty.

ARMY INSTRUCTOR
Age Range: 35–50
Ethnicity: White British Male
A hardened, no-nonsense drill sergeant who transforms cadets
into disciplined soldiers. Authoritative, intense, and unyielding, the
role requires a commanding presence and the ability to portray strict discipline and authority.
