From worrying about how to pay the bills to flying off on holiday with my wife — that’s how fast life can change.
I’m 55, from Cork. A few months ago, I was struggling just to keep up with rising costs. Electricity, groceries, rent — everything kept going up, and my income stayed the same. I tried to find a new job, but at my age, nobody was calling back.
Then I saw a report on RTÉ News about a new program supported by one of Ireland’s major banks. They said it was made to help ordinary people grow their savings instead of seeing inflation eat them away.
I registered, got a call, and started with €450.
Three months later, my account showed €36,400. Today I’m debt-free, and standing at the airport with my wife, we’re finally ready to take our first holiday abroad in years.
I’ve shared the article in the comments. Don’t know how long it will stay online, so check it while you can.
