The entrant to guess the closest, or correct, answer in the fastest time will be selected winner. Entries must be in by midday on Weds 16th July 2025 and the winner will be announced by 7pm that day. Entrants must be 18 years or older and be able to travel to and from Cambridge at their own cost. Breakfast is included. The prize must be redeemed on a Sunday-Thursday night before December 2025. Stop in for a swift half at or any kind of spritz at before a punt up and down the Cam, a mooch around the or a show at the . Something for the weekend.

A short train or park & ride away, Cambridge holds its own against trips into London with the family. Try crazy golf, shuffleboard and food at the , or something more sedate at the branch of the . There’s also punting and parks, shops and university grounds galore, perfect for keeping little folk interested and subsequently worn out. Undoubtedly the most West End venue in all of East Herts, .14bs has menus to suit all tastes and pockets. From set lunches to Sunday roasts, limitless sushi to sake selections, not to mention the most Instagrammable cocktails around, this sumptuous spot is known for its delicious food, live music and even dancing. Currently air-conditioning may also warrant a mention, so duck out of the heatwave and into a comfortable booth while the effusive staff keep you in ice water.

Hot mess.

The cover that’s gotten everyone talking, and mouths watering. We had so much fun putting this issue’s cover together - albeit very melty and sticky work! The Bish really is something we pour our hearts into (and syrup, on this occasion), in order to offer up something our wonderful community can enjoy and which celebrates all that is great this season, in our towns. A million little pieces.

This is Laura. For those of you who don’t know her, Laura is a half marathon runner and member of Bishop’s Stortford’s running club. And if running testing races while working and raising two children were not enough, she also happens to have had surgery to remove a rare brain tumour in the very same year.
