I thought I would come on and introduce myself,
re-introduce myself! If you have been here along time. I apologise in advance!
I stared off The Emporium nearly 10 years ago, I can’t quite believe it’s been that long, many obstacles, many new paths, challenges and growth.
We didn’t start with weddings but it was always about making things for people it kind of flowed naturally to where we are today and we couldn’t be more prouder!
It started off me not being able to go back to work after having our son very early at 25 weeks, I couldn’t go back to work due to Huey having very complexed needs, I couldn’t not work, I didn’t want to loose myself as a person.
I needed to be creative. I wanted to do something to contribute and to also work around Huey and his needs. So The Emporium was born all those years ago.
Fast forward five years, Dean left work to come and push everything so we could be a good and proper family business further.
We open up The Parlour a huge step and a real big girl pants moment.
It was such a huge step but a dream to have our own creative space, or a messy space as Dean likes to call it.
It’s where the magic happens. It’s where all your flowers are designed, with a whole lot of love I may add.
Our lives can be challenging especially when Huey isn’t well or struggles with his own issues, exceptionally hard at times. Being special needs parents is hard graft.
Jade yesterday sent some photos across, not the best of me at all by no means, but they really hit home.
My face honestly says it all.
My world lights up doing this job. Your flowers mean so much to me, your weddings are everything and they mean so much to our little business. It made my day receiving them! It will be the ones I look back on to make me smile!
If you’re looking for a florist, a stylist a wedding decorator.
I’d like to think we’re your family!
I’d you would like to know more about what we offer, what we do, how we could help make your day special I would love to chat!
