Krisztina attended the Blackpool Vision breakfast event at the Backlot Cinema 🎬 last week!

It was great to catch up with Angela Kershaw and Lesley Crowe from Blackpool Unlimited.

The event kicked off with Cllr Jane Hugo, who shared exciting updates on key development areas across Blackpool.

Krisztina gained some great insight from two engaging panel discussions:
First up was Nick Gerrard, Alan McBride, Alun Francis and Garry Bowker discussed the drive to create a year-round visitor economy, how regeneration projects are creating jobs, and the importance of social value.

Secondly, Marcus Mollinga, Lesley Hawkins, Kate Shane and Jerrod Hartley explored the town’s growing key sectors, powerful cross-sector partnerships, and the promising future for Blackpool’s younger generations.

There’s a real sense of momentum in the town – Blackpool is positioning itself as a hub of innovation, a top choice for investment and opportunity and we're excited to be part of it.💡

They say time flies and we can hardly believe our lovely Jenna has been with us now for 1 whole year. 💚 Her Happy trip around the sun has seen her blossom beyond our expectations. What an amazing Happy she is, living our values so beautifully. Jenna has embraced everything we've thrown at her with enthusiasm and determination and we're really proud of what she's achieved this year. Happy Happy anniversary Jenna! 🫶

What a heartwarming visit last week for Happy Karen as she headed over to the incredible Aiming Higher Charity in Blackpool who we have been working with on a brand refresh. 💚

Karen was welcomed with open arms by the amazing Latoya and Faye, who are an absolute credit to the organisation, their passion and love for what they do was clear from the moment she walked through the door.

She had the chance to tour all of their brilliant facilities, we’re talking sensory rooms, games rooms, arts and crafts spaces, music rooms, and dedicated counselling rooms. Every space is thoughtfully designed to support children with disabilities and their families in a calm, fun and safe environment.

What also stood out was the incredible support they offer to parents, from emotional support and a listening ear to that all-important respite, helping them recharge and feel connected in a truly caring community.

Karen also got to spend time in their beautifully peaceful Blue Room, where she heard all about how Aiming Higher began and the real difference they’ve made to families across the Fylde Coast. It was moving, inspiring, and a total privilege.

We’re so proud to shine a light on such a wonderful charity doing vital work right here in our community. Latoya, Faye and the whole Aiming Higher team, you're amazing and you’re changing lives every single day. 🙌

What a fantastic day we had last week as we joined Blackpool Unlimited to help organise The Midnight Oil Event at Blackpool FC. The brilliant Brad Waldron took to the stage and delivered his award winning insights into achieving sustainable growth to 100 eager business leaders.

The room was buzzing with energy as businesses from Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre came together to connect, share ideas, and get inspired. Team Happy Karen, Jenna and Krisztina we're also there soaking up the atmosphere and tapping into Brad's wealth of knowledge, proven methodologies, and his winning formulas.

Thank you so much to those that attended and also a huge thanks to Ged Mills for hosting the event, Jamie-Leigh from Blackpool FC for being such a fantastic support and of course Brad Waldron.
