rtments with an extended range of post-treatment information cards. These provided patients with clear instructions on how to take care of their injury at home. BOE now works across many directorates within a Trust creating literature to clinicians’ or managers’ individual specifications, allowing them to meet the Department of Health's requirement for good practice in the provision of patient information. Our service allows departments to regularly review their information and ensure it meets the standard set by Trust policy makers. We are accustomed to operating to the highest standards ourselves and meet the assessment level required by NVQ to achieve the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 UKAS accreditation mark. We have now embarked on attaining a new certification scheme for health information known as the Information Standard.
