Sad to hear about Dave Ball. I will always remember him playing me on his keyboards the opening bars to a song and asking me what I thought. I replied "Well, it will never make Number 1!". The tune he played me was "Tainted Love" and it was the biggest hit single of 1981and a massive No 1 for "Soft Cell". I got that wrong a bit! 🙄🤣
