I heard when the news broke. I just didn’t know what to say at the time. Still don’t. Stargate means the world to me. It meant the world to my dad. It means the world to a lot of people. I’m sad we never got the chance to see this next chapter the a lot of the original team were working on.

All I can say is go support our Fandom, especially David Read and Darren Sumner at Dial the Gate and GateWorld. They’ve been supporting this universe since the beginning. Give them the love they need right now.

Amazon has made a mistake with this. They had the right people who cared about this franchise that were more than willing and able to take Stargate to the next level while respecting the past. And now we will more than likely get a hard reboot that the fans won’t care about because it will disregard what the fans loved about this world.

Thank you to my fellow Gaters. It’s been a long road. We almost saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately it was robbed from us.

Thank you so much to Martin Gero, Joseph Mallozzi and Brad Wright for working so hard to bring this show to life. I hope one day we shall see something from this.

Just remember that Stargate was Mgms second biggest franchise behind James Bond back in the day, and we’ve only just seen one good game out of the 007 franchise.

I hope one day we get something that the fans truely want.

So… THE BUSINESS MAN: Extended Final Cut is Happening.

Here’s your first details on the Final Cut of this Feature Film.

- Me and my Dad talked about doing this for ages if we could finish the Visual Effects. That is now on the Table.
- The New Cut will Feature the Short Films FROST, YOU KNOW WHAT I LIKE and INFILTRATION.
- Visual Effects will be added that were previously unfinished.
- The Original Score by Dan Holland will be used more than Licensed Songs, but there may still be a few still in there.
- Improved Audio Quality as much as possible.
- No ETA on a Release Date, but maybe sooner rather than later.

Thats all the details for now.

I Smell a Re-Release | The Business. Man: Extended Final Cut |

So… THE BUSINESS MAN: Extended Final Cut is Happening.

Here’s your first details on the Final Cut of this Feature Film.

- Me and my Dad talked about doing this for ages if we could finish the Visual Effects. That is now on the Table.
- The New Cut will Feature the Short Films FROST, YOU KNOW WHAT I LIKE and INFILTRATION.
- Visual Effects will be added that were previously unfinished.
- The Film will go through Colour Grading to make the Scenes pop a bit more.
- The Original Score by Dan Holland will be used more than Licensed Songs, but there may still be a few still in there.
- Improved Audio Quality as much as possible.
- No ETA on a Release Date, but maybe sooner rather than later.

NickeRMel Update April / May 2026 Round Up

- Going Forward. NickeRMel Updates and future projects not already in production will be Shot and released in 4K.

- Not one but two Memoy Remains Dairies our on the way. There was more footage than initially thought.

- Detective Harpers Reports is almost Complete. Just awaiting Actors schedules for the Roles of Spector and Luther Campbell. Roles may get recast.

- Due to Scheduling Issues, a lot of the Reshoot plot for Object: Legacy may get cut.

- Final Report is currently planned to be NickeRMel Pictures last big Feature Film. Production is also on hold due to Scheduling Issues.

- Unreleased Footage of Doctor Who and Comedy Movie will looked at after the completion of Object Legacy.

- More Behind the Scenes Content is in the works.

- Filming overall is currently on hold, due to the above mentioned Scheduling issues.

- Post Production work has been brought forward due to delays.

- Plans to produce other peoples films is still on the agenda.

- There may not be a NickeRMel Update for the month of June unless coming substantial happens like Production resuming on Current Projects or a release or two of some of our in the can Projects.

Sorry this round up is a bit of a nothing burger. That's all I've really got for you guys at the moment.
