SPECIAL APPEAL FOR LUNA❗

We have partnered with our friends at Upwall Films who have created a fantastic video for us to introduce Luna!
It was, I think, love at first sight. Now the cynics might wrinkle their noses at such maudlin sentiments, but I know what I felt. The skipped beat, the held breath, the wetted eyes. It could only be love – and all it took was a smile.
But, then, hers isn’t just any smile. It’s not like the awkward grimaces that pass between acquaintances over shaken hands, it’s not like a salesman’s gleaming white, toothy lie; no, hers is hearty, ivory-hued and earnest. Hers is broad and unmistakable. Hers is a true Staffy smile. It is given freely, without any thought of requital. It is offered because it’s what her nature compels her to do.
Here I smile, I can do no other.
Her smile, though, is just the gateway, an elaborate entrance to something greater still: her nature and her personality. Luna takes the finest qualities that one might expect of a Staffy-X – their personability and their desire for affection from all who might offer it – as well as a few that one might not, such as tenderness and politeness and a sense of social grace! She can, on first meeting her, come across as almost cautious before – moments later – folding herself into your person. Into your arms. Onto your lap.
From a pragmatic perspective, she walks nicely on lead, she knows various basic commands, she greets strangers with fondness and courtesy – but to focus on these is to miss the heart of it. To adopt Luna is to give yourself over to another, to bind yourself soul to soul. Before long, her smile will be mirrored by yours; a smile which, if anything, is wider still.
