A Chinese startup has unveiled a new battery that it claims can generate electricity for 50 years with the need for charging or maintenance.

Beijing-based Betavolt said its nuclear battery is the first in the world to realise the miniaturisation of atomic energy, placing nickel-63 isotopes into a module smaller than a coin.

Qatar Airways has launched its first Boeing 777 flight equipped with Elon Musk's Starlink internet, marking a new era of in-flight connectivity. During the flight from Doha to London, CEO Badr Al Meer made a video call with Musk at 35,000 feet to demonstrate the high-speed service.
Qatar Airways is offering free high-speed internet across its fleet, challenging competitors who provide slower, paid, or restricted services. By the end of 2024, 12 Boeing 777-300s will have Starlink, with full fleet coverage by 2025. Airbus A350s will follow by summer 2025.
Starlink's satellite network allows passengers to stream, message, and make calls from gate to gate at no extra cost. Musk, during the call, said, "It only gets better from here."

Veteran industrialist Ratan Tata died at a Mumbai hospital late on Wednesday (October 9, 2024). The chairman emeritus of the Tata group was 86.

Tata was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai on Monday (October 7, 2024) owing to age-related issues, and to control his blood pressure.

It is devoted to worshiping moon with fruits, makhan kheer, dahi etc. Women fast (yet again!) whole day without water and do Alpana in Angan and keep wooden block with Alpana on it after dusk and wait for moon to come out of clouds. All family members gather in Angan with Prasad in their hands and wait to pray once they see full moon.🌕🌕
