Shoppers queue up more than four hours early for opening of new Bolton store
On Tuesday morning (October 21), Iceland opened the doors to its newest Food Warehouse store at the Bolton Gate Retail Park. But four and a half hours before the store opened, people had already begun lining up outside in advance.
Some shoppers were seen waiting in line from as early as 3.30am to be amongst the first to visit the shop.
The highly-anticipated Bolton store previously announced its opening day plans, in which the first 150 customers in line would all receive a combined £1,500 worth of store vouchers. Those who turned up extra early, before 7.45am, were also given raffle tickets.
The raffle prizes included seven Tower Air Fryers, whilst one lucky shopper got to take home a Daewoo Double Drawer Air Fryer.
