📣 A message from Bolton Filmworks CIC.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an important personal update.

Two years ago, I started Bolton Filmworks CIC with a huge amount of passion and belief in what it could become. It’s been an incredible journey filled with creativity, hard work, and support from so many amazing people. But it has also been a challenging time with limited financial reward and a constant struggle to get the business where I hoped it would be.
After a lot of reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to step back and focus on rebuilding my own stability and mental well-being. As part of that, Bolton Filmworks CIC will officially be closed as a CIC on Companies House.

This isn’t the end of the story — just a pause. I’m keeping the Bolton Filmworks name, and when the time is right, I’ll be able to return with clearer direction, better support, and a stronger foundation.

Thank you to everyone who has followed, encouraged, worked with, or simply believed in the vision. Your support has meant everything, and it will continue to guide whatever comes next.

This is not goodbye — just a reset.
More to come in the New Year. ❤️

As Lead organiser of VR Manchester, Rob brings together creators, thinkers, and enthusiasts for a night of shared discovery.
