Bolton FM is a radio station for the town we love to serve - BOLTON. We are based in the heart of the town and staffed entirely by volunteers who have lived in the town all their lives. We launched on Saturday 20th June 2009 in Victoria Square, Bolton; and now broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365(6) days a year. Our aim to be a respected and reliable source for everything that happens in B

olton, from local gossip; news; entertainment and music and sport events. If it matters to Bolton it matters to us. Although we, first and foremost, broadcast across Bolton we have listeners across the UK and around the world.

A treat for music-lovers on Tuesday's This is Bolton. We'll be talking to film-maker Chris Hughes about his documentary which recalls the iconic Hacienda Club in Manchester through the 69 lots sold to devotees when the club was broken up in 2000.
The movie "Do You Own The Dancefloor" will be shown at Bolton Museum next month. Hope you can join us between 11 and one or listen again at boltonfm.com
