💣Why your clinic’s Facebook ads bombed 💣

Recently I spoke to some aesthetic clinic owners who invested in Facebook ad campaigns which didn’t deliver new patients. They’re angry at their marketing agencies, who they believe ran terrible ads.

It’s horrible to see no ROI on your spend. And yes, the marketers sucked. But the ads might not have been to blame.

See, it’s not easy to convert cold leads even with fantastic ads.

When you advertise on FB, you’re taking people who never heard of you 5 minutes ago and shouting: “Do CoolSculpting with us! How about younger skin!?”

Some might be interested enough to fill in a form.

You get excited about your new lead.

Still, most of those people don’t know you and weren’t actively searching for a treatment.

Some will still be ready to buy. You can convert them fast with intense follow-up (or low prices).

But the rest will take longer. You must nurture them long-term, building their desire for the treatment which piqued their interest til they’re ready to book.

That takes time, patience & content, not a quick campaign. You can do it before showing people an ad or afterwards.

Either way marketing is a long-game. And those ads are just one part of a larger puzzle.

Recently I’ve taken up tennis. I’m a little obsessed, taking 3-4 classes a week.

And the weird thing? Ever since I started playing, I see tennis everywhere.
