Who says a business meeting has to happen around a boardroom table?

Sometimes, the best ideas come when you step away from the desk!

This week, we decided to have our Soror Pro Consulting catch-up and plan everything we’re up to between now and Christmas… by going wild swimming at 🏊‍♀️🌿

A slightly different way to have a meeting, but actually the perfect opportunity to chat, think, plan and catch up without the usual distractions of emails, phones and endless screens.

And yes… we did actually get some work done!

Running a business can be busy, so sometimes changing your surroundings is exactly what you need to get a fresh perspective.

Now we’re feeling refreshed, refocused and ready for a busy few months ahead!

We’re delighted to be working with the team at Sterling Event Group supporting their continued growth across Yorkshire and the wider region.

Charlotte recently had the pleasure of visiting the Sterling Event Group Showcase 2026 in Manchester and we were blown away! 🤩

From immersive production set-ups and lighting and rigging demonstrations to audio, video and full-service event production, the Showcase was an incredible insight into the scale, expertise and creativity behind the Sterling brand.

What stood out most was the passion and knowledge across every department, alongside the meticulous organisation behind the scenes. From equipment being cleaned and tested after every event to precise labelling and dispatch, it was clear that attention to detail is at the heart of everything they do.

People who know their craft. Technology that delivers. A genuine passion for creating extraordinary experiences.

We’re incredibly excited to support Sterling as they continue to grow and to see what the future holds for this fantastic partnership!

August is coming to an end… and we’re ready for September!

While summer may be winding down, things certainly haven’t been quiet at Soror Pro Consulting!

We’re delighted to be welcoming new clients, with new projects, new opportunities and plenty to get stuck into as we head into September.

September always feels like a fresh start in business, a chance to refocus, put plans into action and start working towards those goals you’ve been thinking about all summer.

For us, that means getting stuck in with our clients, supporting their growth, developing new opportunities and, of course, plenty of networking along the way!

A little bit of business, a lot of family time.

It’s been lovely to have a couple of days together on holiday, something we don’t always get when you’re running your own business!

For the rest of the trip, we’re tag-teaming and crossing over, with one of us at home working while the other enjoys some holiday time with the family. It means we can still accommodate all of our clients while making sure the business keeps moving.

We both had our laptops with us for those couple of days together too… because when you run your own business, work never really stops!

But it was so lovely to see the kids play together, have lots of laughs and enjoy some quality time as a family.

It might not be the traditional way to do a holiday, but sometimes finding a way that works is what running your own business is all about.

Just over eighteen months ago, Soror Pro Consulting began with a shared vision: to help businesses grow through collaboration, creativity and practical support.

Since then, it’s been an incredible journey.

We’ve had the privilege of working with SMEs across Yorkshire and throughout the UK, building lasting relationships, meeting inspiring business owners and creating some fantastic partnerships along the way.

Every conversation, every project and every connection has helped shape who we are today.

We’re also passionate about continuing to learn and develop. Christina has recently completed her First Aid at Work qualification and we’re always looking for ways to upskill, broaden our knowledge and bring even more value to the businesses we support.

The past month has been another busy one, filled with networking events, strategy meetings and new client meetings.

One of the things we love most is connecting with people from all sectors and discovering how we can help businesses thrive.

At Soror Pro Consulting, we’ve been so busy supporting our clients with business development, marketing and growth strategies that finding time to attend networking events and conferences has been a challenge.

But here’s the thing… As tempting as it is to stay behind the laptop and work through the to-do list, networking is one of the best investments you can make in your business.
