On the workbench this week we have a host of Accurascale 31's, 37's, 50's & 60's, accompanied by a Cavalex 56 & their 60's, with a lone Bachmann 37 and four more if the new tooled Bachmann 08's.

All have had a varying degree of works attention, including DCC/DCC Sound fitting, renumbering, renaming, detailing, drivers fitted and weathering, which is ongoing.

The latest group of loco's out of the TRSW workshop.

Accurascale class 31's, 37,s and a class 50 along with a Cavalex class 56 & 60.

The 2 Original Railfreight 31's have been renumbered and had the high intensity headlight fitted under the driver's windscreen as per the prototypes. The West Hill Wagon Works lighting kit has been used for this purpose and is directional. All 5 class 31's have had varying degrees of fading as part of the weathering process.

All locos have had drivers fitted, detailing added at either one or both ends and weathering as per prototype photo's.

I've just noticed that in the highlight video just posted, that 08 928 still had windows covered in weathering, which isn't how they get sent back to the customer.

The glazing, wheel tyres and wheel backs get cleaned as part of the final work carried out prior to their return, as per these photos.

A selection of recently completed loco's that have had a variety of works carried out, including DCC Sound fitting, DCC Fitting, Stay Alive fitting, drivers supplied, painted and fitted, buffer beam detail added and various styles of weathering applied.

A recently completed pair of renumbered and weathered Accurascale Type 3's, class 37's, are on their way back to their home layout.

6977 is in a particularly sorry work worn state, photo of prototype included before someone says "they were never in that condition".

6979 is a more standard weathering which was very typical for this class of loco.

This week's finished group of loco's includes a class 22, 4 class 31's, 5 class 35 Hymeks, 3 class 47's and 8 class 52 Westerns. These have all been DCC fitted, has a full cleaning, lubrication and adjustment service (as they've been in storage for quite a while) detailed, renumbered and named where required, had a driver and secondman fitted and weathered as per prototype photo's supplied by the customer.

Next job is to commission them on their home layouts, Old Oak Common, Ranelegh Bridge and The Factory.

On the workbench/in the sprayshop.....

Two of Accurascale class 31's and 37 and a Cavalex 56 are the latest locos to go through the weathering stages in the sprayshop, having undergone DCC Sound fitting, detailing and having drivers fitted.

The next stage is a "blending" application of the weathering, followed by varnishing.

Other loco's and wagons that have just been completed are a Dapol class 59, which has been DCC Sound fitted, driver added, detailed, etched plates fitted and weathered to a Light working state.

A Dapol class 73 has also been DCC Sound fitted, driver fitted, etched plates fitted, detailed and weathered to an Enhanced Faded Complete 4 Stage Medium working state.

An Accurascale class 50 008 and 3 FNA nuclear flask wagons have also just been completed. "Thunderer" has had a driver fitted, detailed, etched plates fitted and weathered to a Light working condition.

The 3 FNA's, 2 Accurascale and 1 Revolution, have been weathered to a Light/Medium working state.

These latest completed loco's were part of the same group that included the Cavalex TEA's previously showcased.

4 of the superb Accurascale class 31's have been dual numbered, detailed, drivers fitted and weathered to a Medium working state.
