South Foreland Lighthouse stands bright on the White Cliffs of Dover, overlooking the English Channel. Built in 1846, it was the first lighthouse in the world to shine with electric light. Today it stands as a peaceful landmark, watching over the sea long after its guiding beam was retired.

ලොව පළමු වරට විදුලිය යොදා ගත් ප්‍රදීපාගාරය වන ඩෝවර් වයිට් හවුස් වයිට් ක්ලිෆ්හි පිහිටා ඇත. 1846දී සාදා නිම කළ මෙය එංගලන්තයත් ප්‍රංශයත් අතර ඉංග්‍රීසි ඕඩය ඔබ්බෙන් විරාජමානව පවතී.
