This is an absolute beast of a line up for Bournemouth, so heads in the area should deffo get down to show some love and help bring the town the music scene it deserves 💯

This week the spotlight is on the donny himself - Kid Lib 👑
Not much of an intro needed for this one, so I'm gonna fall back and let the tunes talk for me..
One thing I will say though, is that two of the Jungle Wars tunes Kid Lib made way back in 2014 (or 16, can't quite remember) are genuinely some of the biggest influences in me starting Scared Money.

Released on our very first Dub-Fi-Dub, long before the label released any digital tunes!

This one became a staple in Scared Money sets for a while and put the lathe cut series on the map for us.

With a turn of the year, we welcome back our Artist Focus Friday series.

A weekly series dedicated to giving flowers to the creatives that helped pave the paths and shape the styles across multiple genres/industries, so that a label like Scared Money can step in the game and do it's thing.

With that being said... First up we've got the 'Emperor of Dancehall' himself - Shabba Ranks!

One of the most respected MC's to step out into the Dancehall arena 💯

Shabba was, is, and will no doubt continue to be sampled left right and centre due to his 'hit machine' ability.

Unique vocal tone and catchy hooks are just a couple of the traits which made Shabba an absolute titan of the game.

2026 is the year in which Scared Money is going to enter a more focused approach on diversifying the content that we bring to the platform.

We've got some exciting stuff planned, which hopefully will give you guys another layer to digest around our interests and creative output as a label.

We're closing off 2025 with our 8th release of the year, and with that we welcome .biggles into the family ❤️

This release reaches into a territory that Scared Money hasn't occupied as much, with Biggles bringing a Grime influence across the first two tracks, then returning to a stripped back Ragga Jungle number for Sesame Street Raggamuffin.

joins the fun, flipping his own version of Sesame Street to end the EP off, bringing a slightly more hectic energy to the release.. something he's a known culprit for.
