We're delighted to welcome Dr Laura Mee to GRINDFEST! Laura is a Principal Lecturer in Film and TV at the University of Hertfordshire with research interests in horror and adaptation. She is the author of two books - Reanimated: The Contemporary American Horror Remake (2022, Edinburgh University Press) and Devil's Advocates: The Shining (Liverpool University Press, 2017). She has published more widely on films including I Spit on Your Grave, The Conjuring, Room 237 and American Psycho.
Laura also introduced our 35mm screenings of THE SHINING at The Shelley Theatre back in December 2017, we're thrilled to welcome her back.
