Black Angus (also known as Aberdeen Angus), Angus cattle are naturally polled, meaning they do not have horns.
The ear-tags is common in commercial beef operations, which is typical for as they are primarily raised for high-quality beef.
While Black Angus is increasingly popular due to its high-quality beef and easy management, native British breeds like South Devon, Red Ruby Devon, and Hereford are more traditionally associated with the West Country, including Dorset.
So, Angus while not as historically tied to as some other breeds, Black Angus cattle are definitely present and becoming more common, especially among focused on quality production.
