At some point
you stop trying to “burn as much as possible”

Because that phase
keeps you stuck

You start training with intention

Better form
More control
Actually pushing yourself

Not just ticking a workout off

Because being sweaty and exhausted
doesn’t mean it worked

And that’s when your body starts changing

“Tone” doesn’t come from doing more

It comes from doing it properly

Rest is productive

This didn’t happen overnight…
this has been building for years

I’ve already done the “cut everything out” approach

dairy free for 4.5 years
gluten free for 3

…and my body is still reacting

bloating
inflammation
fatigue
skin issues

because here’s the truth no one tells you

you can’t eliminate your way to fixing the root cause

there comes a point where it’s not about cutting more

it’s about actually understanding what your body needs

my quality of life matters

how I feel day to day matters

so instead of guessing…
I’m taking action with my coach

this is your reminder

and just removing more foods isn’t it

I actually feel better

not perfect
but better

the fog is clearing
I can think straight

the bloat is reducing
my low moods were getting to me most

we’ve made a few simple changes

swapped sweet potato → white potato
removed fruit and fruit juice for now

increased the stomach acid tablets

and my body feels calmer already

which just proves…

this isn’t just “eat healthy” and hope for the best

it’s about eating in a way your body actually responds to

one of my girls messaged me saying
“the way you take care of your health is inspirational”

and it made me think

we get one body

the one that carries us through everything

adventures ✈️
work 💻
training 💪🏼
hugging my mum 🤗
carrying my shopping 🛍️

so how you treat her matters

this is exactly how I approach coaching too

This is what happens when you stop overreacting

a week of cork
london
my cycle
scale fluctuations
less training than usual

and not once did i think
“I need to start again Monday”

because this is where most women go wrong

They:
Panic at the scale
Slash calories
Overtrain
Then undo it all at the weekend

and repeat that cycle for years

When actually…

Consistency isn’t built in perfect weeks
it’s built in messy ones like this

This is what i teach my girls

How to stay steady
when life isn’t

Because that’s where results actually come from

If your body isn’t changing
it’s not because you need to do more

It’s because you’re reacting to everything

I can’t train anymore…

not forever

but right now

Because doing more
isn’t what my body needs

I’m trying to reduce inflammation

so instead of pushing through
I’m puling back

Walking
slowing things down
actually listening for once

And I’ve seen this so many times with clients too

Pushing harder
training 5–6 days a week
ignoring the signs their body’s giving them

because slowing down feels like going backwards

But that’s usually where progress stalls

Not because they’re not doing enough

but because they’re doing too much of the wrong things

This is the part most people skip

Because it feels like you’re doing less

when really… you’re doing what’s required

Save this for when you feel like you should be doing more
but your body is telling you otherwise

You’re training 3–4 times a week

but making your workouts up on the spot

You think your hitting your steps

but when you actually check…
it’s not quite what you thought

Or you’re doing 15k+ a day

constantly on the go

stressed
inflamed

and still not seeing results

Then the weekend comes

A couple of lattes
a bottle of wine
crisps and dips

Nothing crazy

…but it all adds up

And somehow

you feel like you’ve barely eaten

but your body isn’t changing

This is where most women get stuck

Because the effort is there

but the structure isn’t

She didn’t need to try harder

She needed to do the right things
consistently
with a plan that actually fit her life

Her life didn’t stop for this

she just stopped doing the things
that weren’t working

This explained why I felt like s**t

I knew something wasn’t right

because it wasn’t just certain foods anymore
it was everything

Even the things I used to be fine with
were starting to react

So I tested it

because guessing clearly wasn’t working — sound familiar? 😉

And it actually made sense

It’s not just what I’m eating

It’s what my body’s able to do with it

Which explains the bloating
the reactions
the constant feeling of being off

We’ve made a few changes already

and I finally feel like I’m moving in the right direction
