The Shipwreck Decoder breaks down the complex machinery left behind on the seabed. As Ashton East explains: "In a diesel engine the air-fuel mixture is compressed to the point of spontaneous combustion. Two stroke diesel engines are taller than comparable four stroke diesel engines. Diesel engines have a fuel injector, and do not have spark plugs and a carburettor."
