🚐 A new addition to our caravan cooking setup! 🍳

We love our Cadac, but when the weather is really dry, some campsites restrict BBQs and open flames 🔥🚫

So we wanted an alternative for those days — and this Quest 40cm Electric Skillet from Robert Dyas was just £25! 🙌

It’ll also be perfect for those rainy camping days when we want to cook in the awning and stay nice and dry! ☔️😂

At 1,500 watts, we’re hoping this little gadget will be a winner… but now it’s time to put it to the test! 👀

For the first time ever, Craig used the caravan mover to manoeuvre the caravan into position and line it up perfectly with the car hitch. 🚐➡️🚗

The best kind of weekend setup… simple, peaceful and surrounded by nature. 🌿🚐❤️

This tiny CL has just 5 pitches, so it’s quiet, calm and the perfect place to switch off.

Just the sound of nature, a slow weekend and our simple little setup — porch awning paired with the
Caravan Shed from Overtrek. 👌

Nothing fancy. Nothing complicated. Just everything we need for a relaxing weekend away. 🥰

Honestly, does it get much better than this? 🌿☕️🚐

Rain tapping on the awning, caravan door wide open… and we’re still enjoying the outdoors without getting soaked! 🌧️🚐☕️

This little porch awning has become a rainy-weekend essential for us. It gives us a lovely sheltered spot outside, keeps the rain away from the caravan door, and means we can still enjoy a bit of fresh air — even when the weather isn’t quite playing ball. ❤️

We’ve had this one since we first started caravanning 9 years ago, and it’s still going strong! 🥰

Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make a caravan weekend even better. ❤️

🚐✨ Our honest opinion on the Hydro Carcare Cleaning Kit! ✨🚐

We’ve been putting the Hydro Carcare kit to the test on the van and, honestly… we love it! 🙌

The dirt came off so easily using the pump, mitt and jet wash — with hardly any scrubbing needed. And the results got even better once we applied the Car Shield… the beading is incredible! 💦✨

It’s so easy to use, and we’re really impressed with how clean and shiny the van has come up. 😍

There is just one thing we’re going to be adding to our Hydro Carcare collection though… a drying cloth! 😂

But we don’t want you to take just our word for it…

👀 Stay tuned! Hannah has also lent the kit to her parents so they can put it through its paces and give you guys another completely honest opinion. We’ll let you know what they think! 👌

🚨 WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME ABOUT THIS CARAVAN HACK?! 🚨

Guys… THIS may be one of my favourite caravan upgrades yet! 👀😍
If you’re anything like me and love storage + organisation, you NEED to see this! 👇

We’ve just fitted the Maypole Draught Awning Skirt and honestly… it’s so much cleverer than I expected!

👜 2 MASSIVE zipped storage pockets that go right back — ours are already hiding all our extra bags, hammer and bits that usually end up taking over the caravan 😂
🧸 Kids’ toys?
🔨 Camping gear?
🛍️ Extra bags?
Yep… there’s room for all of it!

AND there are two more pockets either side of the wheel arch. 🙌

But wait… because the storage isn’t even the best part! 👀

The skirt runs ALL the way from the front to the back of the caravan, creating a complete seal underneath.

Which means… bye bye draughts! 👋🌬️

Not only does it make the outside look so much tidier, but it helps stop those horrible cold winds blowing underneath the caravan too. ❄️

Honestly, why don’t all caravans come with something like this?!

The silence upon arrival says it all… 😂 we are both VERY relieved to finally be here! 🚐🙌

This week we’re pitching up at the New Forest Centenary Club Site, and after 5 long hours on the road, we honestly cannot wait to get settled in! 😍

Caravan parked, engine off, and now it’s time to switch off and enjoy the weekend. ❤️

That feeling when you finally arrive at site after a long journey… priceless! 😂🚐
