Don't miss the VE Day 80 celebrations today at the Town Park!

🔵🔴⚪️𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 & 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗢𝗻 ⚪️🔴🔵

Slight change of plan folks! We’re now meeting at 9am on the Piazza for the reading of the proclamation and the raising of the flag. So, for those who’d like to attend, that means an extra hour in bed! 😊
_

Join us in the Town Park at 1:30pm—picnics in hand—for performances by the local children’s choir, Morse code demonstrations, and a selection of brilliant, era-appropriate artefacts!
_

The afternoon festivities kick off at 6:30pm with a performance by The Cherry Belles—a fantastic vintage-inspired vocal harmony trio, as seen on national TV and radio! Grab some hot food, coffee, or ice cream and enjoy more great music from both the Brackley Jubilee and Glee choirs.

The day of celebration will draw to a close with the lighting of the Brackley Beacon, in unison with the rest of the nation, at 9:30pm. We look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion with the Brackley Community. See you there!
