Phoenix and I had the absolute pleasure of being invited out yesterday with the Mayor of Brackley, Bernie Tiller, to help judge Brackley’s best Christmas lights.

There were some truly incredible homes and streets to see, and we have loved every trip out visiting them all. The effort, creativity, and festive spirit on display was amazing.

This weekend we visited the Christmas lights in the village of Broadway in the Cotswolds ✨

We had seen online that the lights this year were beautiful and with Broadway being one of our favourite places in the UK, we had to go and see them for ourselves!

Broadway is an absolute must visit at Christmas, especially at twilight! The houses and shopfronts along the high street have gone all out with their decorations, making it a truly magical evening walk. We arrived just as it was getting dark which was perfect 🌚

Broadway Deli were serving mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies outside their shop, and the pub gardens were full of people enjoying a festive drink outdoors

A little heads up if you are planning a visit… parking in Broadway is limited, so be prepared to hunt for a space or enjoy a bit of a walk into the high street. There are plenty of other tourists doing the same thing, so if you’re not good with busy places - now is not the time to go 💫🎄
