The Kestrels are flying, and beat the league leaders on Saturday. Manager Jordan Blake has put the turnaround down to an incredible mentality within his side.

Blake said: “The group’s mentality has been outstanding. They’ve wanted to do the right things, attending training every week and listening to the management team, taking in what we are asking of them. What they have achieved so far is a credit to everybody.

“The players are buying into what we are trying to achieve, on and off the pitch, and being at a football club for the right reasons.”

We've got a little over-excited about 'that pass' from Scott Davies in Saturday's FA Cup win for Slough Town.

Breaking News 🚨 Wokingham Town have announced a change in the dugout with manager Darren Purbrick stepping down.

In a statement released by the club at 4pm on Thursday, it was confirmed that Purbrick has stepped down from his role, but that Matt Eggleston would remain as manager of the first team, alongside the current coaching staff.

The statement went on to thank Purbrick for his time in charge: “The club would like to put on record its sincere thanks to Darren for everything he has done, from starting with the under-18s Allied team to stepping in alongside Matt to save the first team from relegation.”
