For the , Techex has worked closely with a broadcaster to deliver a centralised bank of multiviewers allowing staff around Europe, whether in the office, at home or on the move, to combine production, contribution & distribution feeds into one screen. We made it really simple with a single web page giving staff control of what's on each tile and which one they're hearing. With so many different productions happening around the Olympics, one multiviewer will never suit everyone so each production can change and watch their own multiviewer from anywhere.

Techex is in Tokyo for the where we've deployed this XC chassis for demultiplexing, network firewalling & encoding. This is just part of a pan-Europe monitoring solution allowing this broadcaster to see production, contribution and distribution feeds all in one place whether they're in the office or at home.

As part of our work at the , Techex has deployed 7 Matrox Monarch Edge encoders each capable of 4x HD SDI encodes. These cost-effective encoders are UHD capable, can stream SRT, have HTTP API control & feature a screen on the front for easy access in the racks.

Today we shipped our June releases; CORE 5.5 and EDGE 1.11.

Another busy month; Refreshes of all 3 of our supported ARQ protocols; SRT, Zixi & Zixi. SCTE-35 logging and support for Arm opening up access to EC2 Graviton instances.

Arm based EC2 Graviton instances (C6g) deliver the best price/performance compute providing comparable transport stream throughput to C5 instances with a 20% cost saving.

For CORE, in partnership with our friends at Videon, we bring their flagship Edgecasters under the centralised control of CORE. Edgecasters are the perfect device to ingest live HD-SDI or HDMI UHD sources into your cloud infrastructure over secure SRT links. Our agent allows them to be centrally managed at scale even when deployed behind 3rd party firewalls.
