West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to Avenue Road, West Bowling, Bradford at about 3.30pm on Friday 18/09/2026 to a report of a collision involving a car on Avenue Road.
"A teenage girl received a minor injury in the incident and collection was arranged for the vehicle." The vehicle in true Bradford traditions had rolled over in the incident.
The Fire service wasn't required to attend the scene.

Police were called to the junction of Swain House Road and Kings Road, Bradford at about 11am today 19/09/2026 to a report of a collision between a car and a trail bike. The rider, a teenage boy, was taken to hospital for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening. A cordon was put in place at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.

British Rail area of Low Moor Station, Cleckheaton Road, Bradford.
British Transport Police to assist with an incident - Proved to be an incident where WYFRS were called to an area of the line close to Low Moor station . The call at 23:40 was to assist British Transport Police following their reports of a casualty on the tracks at 23:30, up from Low Moor Station towards the Tunnel. Ambulance crews including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Paramedics, Police, and Network Rail attended.
Sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Appliances from Bradford, Spen Valley, Technical Rescue Unit and Pump), Odsal and CLM officers attended.

The fire at Dalton Mills has been confirmed as arson.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire has now been recorded as suspected deliberate ignition."
Benjy Bush, Bradford district commander for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, has described the site as "dangerous." He said he would hesitate to send firefighters into the building due to its poor condition. “I’m very hesitant now about sending any firefighters in there for any further incidents,” said Mr Bush.
"Local parents, please speak to your children. "It might look like a fun place, but it’s got a lot of hidden hazards. "It’s a dangerous place, there are holes in the floors.
"I understand it attracts curious children, but I’d urge parents to speak to their children about keeping away from the area."

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of a fire in Leeds.

Emergency services responded in large numbers to reports of a derelict building fire in Moortown, Leeds last night (September 14). West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service responded to the call on Fieldhouse Walk at 23.42.
Six crews and an aerial ladder attended and used large jets, a hose reel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze along with an Aerial Ladder Platform Monitor

“Fire Investigators are looking into the cause,” a service spokesperson confirmed.

Man left fighting for life after Keighley Incident.

Road Traffic Collision - Proved to be an elderly male knocked down by a motor vehicle with local residents stating that he was trapped under the car involved.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance were scrambled to the scene.
A 68-year-old man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
The driver a 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through careless driving.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, including anyone who may have dashcam or other footage of the incident, is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police by calling 101 or online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat quoting reference 13260522175. It is unclear whether the patient was transported top LGI by Helicopter or road ambulance.

Building Fire - Proved to be another fire at this location involving a multi storey section approx. 20m x 20m with exposure risks. The building top floors were 100% involved in fire on arrival of first crews. Incident was made up to 12 Pumps and an Aerial appliance. Firefighters used a defensive tactics as the building was unsafe to enter. Neighbouring properties and homes were sprayed with water due to the large amount of embers that were falling from the fire building. Nearby roads have been closed off whilst the incident is dealt with. Crowds gathered to watch the fire as it took hold of more of the property.
Fire crews were seen using 4 Large jets, 2 Hosereel jets, 1 Aerial appliance monitor and prepared use for 2 Ground Monitors. The Hose Layer from Otley attended assisted by Mirfield's appliance. Damping down in now underway with some of the appliance released from the incident ground to be available in other parts of the county.
Appliances from Keighley, Bingley, Shipley, Spen Valley, Normanton, Featherstone Command Unit Lite, Mirfield, Otley Hose Layer, Rawdon, Cookridge, Fairweather Green, Bradford (Pump and Aerial Ladder Platform), Odsal, Morley, Hunslet, Skelmanthorpe Welfare Unit, WY Fire Drone, Fire Investigation, CLM Officers and Senior Officers attended.

Unexplained Death of man in a flat at Shipley.

Police and Fire service attended an address in Poplar Road, Shipley, following concerns for a resident in the block of flats. Just before 4pm on Friday,
Fire crews assisted the Police who forced entry into the address where the body of a man was found.
Enquiries are at a very early stage and his death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Two men are due to appear before Bradford magistrates after they were charged in connection with an attack on a business premises in the city.

Mohammed Balmakhear, aged 27 and Denzel Deneus, aged 34, both of no fixed abode, have been charged with robbery and remanded to appear tomorrow (Saturday).

The charge relates to an incident at Royal Jewellers in Manchester Road on Thursday, 10 September.
