“I’m proud of you for running the Manchester Half Marathon daddy” Amelie said to me before she left for school this morning. That’s the only clout I ever want to chase, making my family proud. Hopefully instilling in my little girls a love of sport and the importance of discipline for a happy fulfilled life.

Proud of achieving my first half marathon, won’t be my last. 1.52 very happy but there’s more to squeeze out.

Thanks to my amazing family for their support and all the awesome crowd that came out to cheer us on, electric atmosphere!

I’ve done almost all of this training in solitude but I don’t want to continue running in isolation, I want to make it more of a social thing, so if you ever fancy a light run and a chat, or tearing up some trails, hit me up

To have gone at this for nine years when the last six have blasted through. Not a breeze cos at times it’s been a mission, but we’ve turned it into everything we’ve wanted.
