🍂 Autumn’s Embrace 🍂

It hasn’t felt right up to now with the weather still being so warm, it has definitely looked colder than it has felt, and I’ve been impatiently waiting for the cooler temperatures to arrive 🍃
So now feels like the right time to post a little autumnal goodness, a moment of rest in this fast turning world, a moment to turn inwards, and be with you for a short while ✨

As the season shifts, just as these leaves are so beautifully changing, have you noticed any changes within yourself, in your energy? This treatment is designed to help you slow down and align with the grounding energy autumn brings and connect with yourself. A comforting blend of cedarwood, frankincense, benzoin, and sweet orange will be gently diffusing as you arrive, with an intention to mirror the steadying embrace of the earth and wrap around you like a comforting blanket 🌿
Just as the trees naturally let go of their leaves, this aromatic blend invites your mind to release built up stress and tension, and to encourage the body to enter a deep state of autumn rest and reflection. A therapeutic blend will also be uniquely chosen for you on the day for the massage element of your treatment.

This treatment begins with gentle touch, releasing hand placements and pressure points around the head, inviting you to begin to quieten the busy mind, allow the thoughts to come, and to go, to release any tension in the head, jaw and allow the shoulders to soften.

Attention then draws downwards, grounding the energy to the feet, a warm, comforting hot stone massage to the lower legs, knees and feet, followed by soothing massage to the same areas to release tension and allow you to relax deeper into your treatment. Reflexology follows, pressure points to the feet to support the body systems and support the body to bring healing where it feels needed, with gentle release, rhythmic flow, you should hopefully be in that world between worlds by this point, in a deep state of rest, the breath has changed helping the nervous system to settle, to feel safe enough to relax.

I then move upwards once more, a deeply nourishing and nurturing hot stone facial massage soothes the senses, including the décolleté, shoulders, chest, upper arms, neck, face and finished with warm oil to the hair and a deeply releasing scalp massage ✨

Your chosen blend will be gifted to you to take home, as a multi use bath/body oil so you can come back to this moment again at home ✨

I’ve travelled to another world writing this, so i know you’ll be in another world experiencing it, I know my treatments so well, and I know what sends you into the most deeply relaxing state, which is why I create these times from experience and intention.

The full experience is 90 minutes and priced at £75.

I can also offer a shorter 60minute time at £55, please kindly note if 60 minutes feels right for you, you will be able to choose between the reflexology element or the facial massage element, this is because I won’t cram everything into an hour, your time will be a far more beautiful experience with one or the other than each part feeling rushed.

If you have all the time in the world then there is of course always the 120 minute option prices at £110.

Please kindly note, whichever time you choose, add on a further 30minutes to your treatment time, this is so you can gently settle in and discuss how you’re feeling, allow me to prepare your blend, receive your full treatment time and gently re-enter the world with a warm post treatment drink ✨

I so hope to welcome you and cocoon you in the cosy, warm embrace of my little space, where every moment is designed to care just for you 🤍

One of the many reasons I love aromatherapy is the accessibility it brings into my life, the way in which I can use it in my everyday life to support where I am in the moment, aromatherapy isn’t only about what I smell, but rather the way it makes me feel, the way it supports me 🌿

Not every treatment, but where I feel it’s needed, the blend that has been made is gifted to my client so they can take those nurturing properties with them, take a moment to connect at home and come right back to that treatment if they wish, more importantly come back to the feeling, the soothing feeling where nothing was required but rest, and as smell can instantly take us back to a moment, my hope is that this small gift brings them right back, and continues to support them in the areas that specific blend was chosen for.

Today this beautiful little rollerball went home with one of my lovely clients, with a blend of neroli, bergamot, lavender and Vetiver ~ to gently comfort a heaviness resulting from sadness, support physical tension resulting from those deep felt emotions, and, this blend was so needed, her time today was so needed. Every noise, breath, snore, I smile, because I can never express enough the privilege I feel to be in the presence of another soul, a soul who needed this time.

Rollerballs are such a beautiful home treatment, they can be carried with us all the time, often as a reminder to pause, breath, perhaps a moment of joy, to smile, a moment to connect, a moment to simply be present, whatever it is they may bring, they may be small, but they can offer so much 🌿

Wishing you a beautiful weekend ahead, and thank you for another lovely week, I always finish my week both humbled and grateful.

With love & gratitude, Clair 🤍

Yes aromatherapy is mostly aromatically pleasing, but let’s not forget these wonderful essential oils have chemical components that help support us in many ways 🌿

A blend from today to support a heavy head, tightness and tension in the head, neck and shoulders, combined with a deeply relaxing treatment to enable my lovely client to find stillness, rest and ease discomfort.
The blend consisted of sweet marjoram, rosemary (ct cineole), peppermint, lavender & sweet orange to help ease, clear, soothe, cool and support my clients needs. My client left feeling better than when she arrived, and that’s all I can ever hope for ✨ the reaming oil was bottled so my client could continue to use this to support her at home, another reason I love aromatherapy.

In the small beaker, this was a facial blend with a drop of neroli to soothe the nervous system, nourish the skin, and nurture the senses 🌿

Each and every oil is blended on the day, once I know how you are feeling, every detail has you at the centre ✨

Today’s blend is Cedarwood, geranium, ylang ylang and grapefruit, that’s what called, I so hope you enjoy the aroma as you walk through the doors today 🌿

I have an appointment available this Wednesday at 11am, if there is anything you may need or simply like for yourself ✨

And I’m so sorry to do this, but it’s easier than reaching out individually…… my last working day of the year this year is 22nd December, and as you all know, my very final month/day of offering nails 🥹 many are being super organised, to the point where the 21st and 22nd of December are now almost full, so it’s not a “book now” post, but a gentle invitation should you like to plan ahead to that time, I certainly don’t want to wish autumn away, but I do wish for everyone to get the appointments they would like at that later time of year 🙏🏼🤍 no pressure, just a gently bringing it to your awareness that you are able to book should you wish 🤍

And all wholeheartedly welcome, I love seeing everyone and I know it will be an emotional and wonderful December to remember 🤍

Ps. Apologies again to bring up that time of year, it comes from a genuine place and feels right to do so. And I didn’t actually say the “you know what” word 😂

Love and gratitude, always, Clair 🤍

Blessed in life to call this walk the school run 🌿

I’ll be honest, I was dreading the structure the school run would bring to our lives, not that it wasn’t structured in some way, but we’ve always maintained a relaxed morning for Harlan, waking when he wakes, going with his flow. But now, I’m in love with this new structure, I’ve been honest about the fact that my work can make days quite sedentary, no workplace to walk to, sitting for many treatments, and so I’ve made the changes I’ve needed to in order to change those things, and the school run seems to have naturally aligned in to that at the right time. Some days working from home I wouldn’t even reach 5000 steps, and couldn’t always get out before and after treatments, and we used to cram all our walks into weekends, but now I’m reaching 5000 before 9.30am everyday, and ending the day between 10,000-15,000 steps! It may not sound like much to some but for me it’s made an amazing difference to how I feel, I feel more like I used to!

There’s a constant pressure that we much reach this, and we must reach that, and I’m going to say, don’t feel guilty if you don’t, not everyone’s lifestyle can allow, and no it doesn’t mean we are lazy, I’ve seen advice out there to get up at 4am to get steps in before the day, but what if you have a baby in bed who’s been up all night, what if your scared to go out for a walk in the dark on your own, what if that doesn’t align with your lifestyle, the reasons are endless, everyone’s life, experiences and circumstances are different so I just don’t agree with the “no excuses” approach, we’re all just doing our best in a lifestyle we weren’t designed for. For me I don’t like that I’ve been sedentary for too long, my body doesn’t agree with it, but I’m now grateful that the time is right to get back to movement again, and grateful to my body for everything she’s held me through whilst I’ve not been myself, and might I say grateful to the school run for allowing these walks to have become part of our day.

Less pressure, less guilt and more of what feels right when it can….. we’re all juggling so much, let’

As a clinical aromatherapist and bespoke formulator, I don’t just offer aromatherapy treatments and bespoke therapeutic products that you can use at home in daily or weekly rituals, whether that be to help settle the senses, soothe tensions from the day, support your evening wind down, the options with aromatherapy seem endless in the way it can be intricately woven into our lives.

But another area I’ve been exploring, and not really shared, is how this can express itself in other ways. Phrases I hear daily “what is that diffusing” and “it always smells beautiful in here” “that smell takes me back to…..” “this scent makes me feel…..” and it got me thinking…

If you are a business owner, perhaps you offer yoga, Pilates, mindfulness/meditation classes, workshops, therapists/spa/salon spaces, corporate office spaces, wellness spaces or studio spaces. I’m taking the opportunity to share that I can also work with you to create a unique, signature blend, this could be to diffuse within your space, completely customised to your offerings, whether that be to support feelings such as mental clarity and focus, calm and stillness, energising and uplifting, grounding and restorative, nurturing and comforting, whatever the feeling you may wish to create for your unique space. I can work with you, exploring scents to bring your thoughts to life through the gift of aroma 🌿

I know anyone can source essential oils, anyone can buy them and use them, but there is something very special in knowing them, using premium quality essential oils with intention, oils you may not even of heard of. Something special about a blend that’s unique to your business, your offerings and an extension of your energy.

And very importantly, the peace of mind that comes with knowing the blends you are diffusing are at safe limits for public spaces, fully compliant and entirely unique to your brand identity.

In my space, it’s always been about the little touches, they have always been things people remember, and I don’t mean material gifts or physical things, but rather the experiences that have an affect on how a person feels.

And so if you have ever thought about having your own signature blend, not only for the aromatic experience, but to support the psyche and create a beautiful atmosphere that resonates with your offerings, then please do feel welcome to reach out and see what we could create together for your brand, your vibration and what you’re putting out into your corner of the world 🌿✨

A beautiful blend from today ~ Ginger, mandarin and cardamom to support digestion, the aroma was wonderful and felt so warming and comforting 🌿

You may notice the darkened room, that’s because I’ve hung some luxuriously thick, earthy toned curtains, so that if you like the light completely shut out to drift away in the darkness for the ultimate cosy factor, you now can, and of course those who love to have the light shining in can still choose that too.

Oooh what will be your preferred? 🌙 ✨

I still have some September appointments available should you wish to cosy up in the warm bed and allow your mind and body to rest, or should there be anything at all you may like or need. If a day and time align perfectly with you then please feel welcome to message ✨

A favourite blend from this week so far - sweet marjoram, lavender & frankincense, and a separate small blend of peppermint, because my lovely client arrived with a headache, so a touch of peppermint (diluted in a carrier) to the forehead and temples at the beginning of her treatment, and this blend was popped in a roller ball for my client to take home to help soothe her headache….. 🌿

I believe the key to wellness is through simplicity, there is far too too much information thrown at us, far too many choices, decisions, and we deal with these every single day, so here, I try to take these away, a simple space for you to arrive, knowing you have chosen to dedicate an amount of time, for yourself, you’ll share with me how you feel, or perhaps you won’t, perhaps you’ll be too tired to even want to do that, and that’s ok, I’m here to listen to the spoken, as well as unspoken. The rest of that time is woven into a treatment that is created for you and with you, with no agenda to fix, but simply rest, and let your body restore as it needs to. Every single element of your time and your treatment is intentional, and created just for you.

My priority is to take care of you, I want you to have nothing to think of, because everyday we have so much to think of, the mind always buzzing with what’s to do next, where to be next, and my hope and aim is to take all of that away, so you can deeply rest your body and your mind, so you can leave, not fixed, but simply lighter, and more rested, ready to step back in, because these gentle moments in time we make for ourselves are exactly what help us to keep these busy days, busy minds, and busy body’s functioning with a little more ease….

Whatever it may be that nurtures your spirit, I hope you make that time for yourself ✨

Wishing you a lovely evening ✨
