Tonight will stay cold. Most areas will be dry and clear. Northern Scotland and Northern Ireland will continue to see snow showers, heavy at times. A few isolated snow showers are possible in Wales.

Sunday

Tomorrow, bright for many, but northern and western coastal areas will see sleet and snow showers. Further snow showers too for northern Scotland. Later on, the odd snow shower for north-west England.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Monday will see a few further sleet and snow showers along northern, eastern and western coasts, though dry and bright elsewhere. On Tuesday, snow showers to start in the north, and brighter in the south. Later on, heavier snow looks to develop in Scotland, with some rain in the far south-west. Rain, sleet and snow will clear south on Wednesday to leave it dry for most.

Headline: Heavy rain across the north and west. Drier southeast.

This Evening and Tonight:
Heavy rain edges southeastwards, sitting across the north and west of England and Wales overnight. More warnings inforce. Becoming clearer and less windy with patchy frost in the northwest and Northern Ireland. Southeast England mostly dry but cloudy. Milder here.

Monday:
Rain, sometimes heavy will persist across the north and west of England and Wales on Monday. Brighter, fresher with a few showers further northwest. Mostly fine still across southeast England.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Rain across southern England will ease to leave a mostly dry, bright day on Tuesday. Overnight frost. However, further wet and windy weather affecting most areas on Wednesday and Thursday.
