I can't believe I actually admitted the last one 🤦🏻♀️
I think I have some explaining to do...
●💦Setting sprays. I promote them because I totally think some (not all) work for certain makeup products and certain skin types, but for me personally, it's just an extra step I do t need. A hydrating spray for over makeup, now that is something I LOVE.
●🛌 Sleeping in my makeup? Obviously, not every night, but you can't tell me you haven't, on occasion, just crawled in to bed with your makeup still on?!
●🫓 N**e lipstick. There are so many amazing mood boosting colours out there. Why bother with a boring n**e 🤷🏼♀️
●🩹 Spot picking. I can't help it. In fact, I'm obsessed!
●💅 Nail biting. A habit I had as a child. I dont actually still do it, but my nails are so weak because of it that they dont grow past my nail beds without breaking.
●✒️ Mascara on eyelids? What can I say, I have small, hooded eyes, and the struggle is real! I'm only human.
●💉Botox. I wish I could say my skincare is enough. But in reality, Botox is something I think about a lot, and I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
●🖌Not cleaning makeup brushes! I'm talking about my personal ones and NOT my professional ones. Those bad boys are sterilised to an inch of their lives! But my personal ones, well, they get second child treatment.
🤩🤩 It felt blooming good to break down the perfect persona us 'pros' are meant to keep up online. We are all human, just trying to get by in the best way we can. I'm not perfect, and quite honestly, I think it would be exhausting to try to be.
