There's something in the water in Wales. Especially when it comes to metal music. Toady, we're listening to “Game On” by Manumit and we love it! Why you ask?

Because it doesn’t waste a second! The groove hits immediately, the riffs are tight and purposeful, and the track keeps pushing forward without overcomplicating things. It’s heavy, controlled, and confident — the kind of song that moves rather than postures.

There’s real balance here: aggression without chaos, hooks without going soft, and a vocal delivery that sounds convincing rather than forced. You can tell this track was written with live impact in mind.

The band are taking part in Metal To The Masses this year in South Wales. With tracks like this, they are sure to make a name for themselves and win some votes.

On a Monday morning, if you're a metal head like we are then you'll want a track that smacks you between the eyes, kicks you in the gut and then gives you a strong coffee afterwards. You know... just to get you ready for the week ahead. Well, Acheron by Collapse The Void does just that!

The first thing you need is that slow, filthy riff broken up by gutteral vocals. It just brings on a face scrunching head nod that gets better and better as the track goes on. Definitely a Monday morning on the way to work track with a coffee in hand. Turn it up and bang that head!

Collapse The Void are an exciting, energetic band hailing from Newport in South Wales. Their music is just as good as their incredible performances! Yes we've seen them a few times and our owner has shared the same stage as them too, so these boys are no strangers to us. With tours and many more gigs lined up in 2026, you are not going to want to miss these guys.

Happy Friday folks!

On a Friday, you just want that one song that get's you in the mood, and Spotify have found us yet another track by a band we haven't heard of before, Right Here Right Now . Their track "Even When The Stars Collide" just hits that sweet spot today!

With stunning synths to kick the track off, the band comes in hard and heavy with an element of chill. The vocals cut through amazingly and the different parts of the music and melody blend perfectly. With energetic vibes and filthy (really f***ing filthy) breakdowns, this track hits hard. Perfect!

As we mentioned yesterday, being a Welsh company we love to promote Welsh bands (and more will be coming) but this track by the Jacksonville (Florida, USA) outfit deserves recognition. Give it a listen today on our new Spotify playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/494WndgHAaRWV02MgxElMl?si=4ff41676aec4420b

On our quest for new music, we came across this belter of a track! Who has heard this from Genus Ordinis Dei and Ambre Vourvahis ? When will Europe stop creating such incredible metal music. Released through Eclipse Records in 2024, we love the depth and power to this track. So, we added it to our new playlist on Spotify.

We have a strong affiliation to Wales and Welsh artists but when you hear music like this, you just have to share it with everyone. On the plus side, we absolutely love Italy (mainly the creator of Rocking Rons), especially the coffee, food and passionate friendly people. Then a band like Genus Ordinis Dei come along and put the icing on the cake.

Let's not forget about the powerful vocals of Ambre Vourvahis from metal band Xandria that complement the growls of Nick. This blend of vocal talent make this a great song to listen to. Now we just need to listen to more of their songs... such a hard life! 🤘😜🤘
